I began lettering at the beginning of 2016, while I was struggling with postpartum depression. Slowing down to shape each letter gave me chance to meditate on God’s word, hymns full of truth and short encouraging phrases, and on top of all that, I absolutely loved getting creative again.

As for getting to know me, how about a list of favourites? ice cream is my favourite. So is chocolate. And coffee that’s drenched in cream and sugar. Books are also my favourite. All sorts, really. White and blue are my favourite. Green as well. Both of my sons are my favourite (5yo and almost 2yo ). My husband is absolutely my favourite. Summer is my favourite. And autumn and spring. Not so much winter. Lettering is my favourite. But lately sketching has been my favourite, too.
I’m kind of a perfectionist but I’m working on it. Thankfully, God is a lot kinder to me than I am to myself, and I’m slowly learning to lean into His grace to me in Jesus rather than dwelling on my mistakes.
